In the 1940s, a Florida couple took a lot of pride in their company, Hana Haus, which they operated out of their home.

The company was one of the first companies to use plywood, and the Haus built out of it.

“It was all about building the house and then working in the garage,” said Haus’ daughter, Mary, who is now 82 and lives in Orlando.

Mary Haus bought the building materials for her dad’s Haus and put them in a warehouse.

She said the business grew in size and complexity and eventually sold out in 1949.

The Haus opened an outdoor building supplies store in the 1930s, and Mary Hensons daughter bought a lot more.

The business went bankrupt in the 1950s, but her daughter bought it up in the 1980s, Mary Haux said.

“She bought it in 1986, and it was the last business I ever worked in,” she said.

The building materials used to build the Hens’ Haus came from a nearby warehouse.

Mary bought the materials in 2002 and put it on her own.

She and her husband, Joe, opened the business in 2006.

They moved to Orlando, where they live now, to take care of their family.

“I love the fact that we can be creative and we can build things that are going to be fun and special and that people are going the extra mile to find,” said Joe Haus.

“We’re really just a family business.”

They have a large outdoor warehouse where they sell everything from tents to snowmobile racks to kitchen appliances and even furniture.

“You can buy anything in the building, and we have some great items that people really can’t find in a garage,” Haus said.

Joe Hanss business has expanded to include a garage sale.

He said he’s always looking for new things and getting new ideas.

The next Haus Haus event is this weekend, May 15, 2018 at 3 p.m. at the Hana Hotel.

Joe and Mary will be the keynote speakers.

They will discuss building a company from scratch, getting started, selling building materials and building an outdoor facility.

They’ll also be the guests of honor at a free event featuring free food, music and crafts.

“That’s kind of the theme of the day,” Hans said.

Haus is also hosting a free, family-oriented event Saturday, May 16, 2018, from 10 a.m.-noon at the hotel.

“This is a great opportunity for people to meet our customers, and learn about what they’re getting for their dollar,” said Mary Hau.

She will be holding a webinar at 10 a,m.

Sunday to talk about her business.
